Lindsey Buckingham

Big Love

"Big Love" was written by Lindsey Buckingham for a third solo album that he began in 1985, which instead became Fleetwood Mac's Tango in the Night. It was in 1993, on his first solo tour, that Buckingham performed a guitar-only version of the song. My version is close to the various live versions Lindsey Buckingham played over the years.

Big Love is a challenging song to say the least. It has very unusual picking patterns and is played at an insane speed. When you hear the song, it is like two guitars are playing at the same time...

Paul Davids made a very interesting video titled "EPIC RIFFS | Fleetwood Mac - Why it's so difficult to play" where he breaks down the song to it's components (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5IKXUnmHbpw&t=148s).
