- MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) developed in 1981 is a technical standard that describes a communications protocol that interconnects a wide variety of electronic musical instruments, computers, and related audio devices for playing, editing, and recording music.
- A MIDI file cannot be played by itself, it only contains information about messages and information about the notes of a piece of music (e.g. the pitch, length, tuning, speed etc.).
- To listen to a MIDI file it has to be played through a synthesizer that creates the sound for the notes specified in MIDI.
- You can listen to a MIDI version of the songs by clicking on a song name below and then click the play button of the player.
- A visualizer shows the notes played in real time
- You can download the MIDI file by clicking the "Download MIDI File".
